East Coast Storyteller
Julia Walpole was born in Charleston, SC and spent her formative years living on her family’s coastal sod farm. She discovered her love of filmmaking in high school while producing a short documentary on competitive cheerleading. She went on to receive a BFA in Filmmaking at UNC School of the Arts with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship. Since then, Walpole has gained experience on all kinds of film and television projects ranging from micro budget independent feature films, to premium television series, to narrative and industrial commercial projects, and even to boots-on-the-ground documentary series. Walpole is an award winning producer— her work having been recognized at many national and international film festivals. She is the co-founder and executive producer at Quiet Frame LLC, a boutique production company producing multimedia marketing assets for clients in addition to developing original narrative films for distribution. Walpole is available for hire independently as a Producer and Assistant Director or for contact on all Quiet Frame related inquiries.
Passionate Leader
Julia’s passion for filmmaking is not only in the excitement of on-set production, but also in the joy of storytelling and the fulfillment in enabling her creative partners to do their best work. She prides herself on getting in the trenches with her teams and living with the intention of learning something new every day. Whether she’s building a project’s timeline and budget from the ground up, keeping a team organized in the midst of production, or getting the team over the finish line in the final stages of post and delivery, she is a creative problem solver, and a trustworthy ally.
